The LW Sedimentation Centrifuge is a horizontal, continuously working, and continuously spiral discharging centrifuge. It is widely utilized across various industries for separating solid-liquid suspensions, clarifying liquid phases with graded grains, and dehydrating sludge.
After entering the high-speed rotating drum, solid-phase particles settle on the drum wall under centrifugal force. The light liquid settles at the innermost part. A screw feeder, rotating at a different speed via a differential mechanism, discharges the solids while liquid exits through the outlet.
This system separates light liquid, heavy liquid, and insoluble solids simultaneously. Due to different specific gravities, materials are subject to varied centrifugal forces: solids settle against the wall, heavy liquid in the middle, and light liquid at the center. Heavy liquid is discharged by a centripetal pump, while light liquid exits via gravity.
Environmental: Municipal sludge, power plant sludge, petrochemical refinery sludge, and industrial dewatering.
Food & Beverage: Fruit juice slag, animal/plant oil separation, soy protein dehydration, and starch processing.
Chemical: Kaolin industry classification, graphite grading, and drilling mud classification.
Oil Separation: Avocado oil, olive oil, sesame oil, fish oil, and waste fuel oil recovery.
